Malay Cochin Cross

Hello guys, I am aware that the Brahma was created by crossing the Malay with Cochin way back when. But but my question is now if I where to do that now with a sq Malay and a sq Cochin, would it produce a nice looking Brahma.

P.S The Cochins and Malays would probably come from superior farms

I would say nope...you would hae to go about selecting for those traits that have made the brahama what it is...that was just the foundation genetics...still a bunch of selecting to go
