Crossing our fingers it a girl! so she/he is 5 1/2 weeks old. she is completely feather on her chest and her tail has grown in. I think it looks very feminine but this is my first muscovy so I don't really know 100 percent. Also she was found abandoned in a nest so she is not a hatchery duck, if that makes a difference in size or feather development. Thanks!

Muscovy ducks don't have normal duck voices. They have chips, beeps, and trills. Usually you could tell sex when they are older. Males are much larger and have a large caruncle and generally louder. Females are much smaller and are quieter.
