She seems more whitish and black.No brown.Looks like a female. Females (if they're wildtypes or italians) have spots on their chest. She looks like an italian, but the lighting isn't the greatest.

It is a female and it is a pearl ... Italians are more yellow.

Those are beautiful quail you have there. I love that pearl hen. We don't have as many mutations here in Australia. It's always nice to see what other people have.
I had 14 eggs that were suppose to all be Italian.A pearl must have snuck in there.Only 4 hatched.She was twin,but her sibling had to be put down.Its a pretty bird.I couldn't tell properly because of the lighting, but yeah, if she's lighter without brown, she would be a pearl
She's beautiful either way.
