Male Peking needing companion advice

Hi Everyone. I have a male Peking, pet duck about two and a half years old. We lost his companion earlier today, a female khaki campbell. I'm wondering what sort of companion you think would best suit him? A couple of female Rouen females about a year old are available locally. Do you think I should get a couple of females, just one? I just have them as pets so I'm not concerned about getting eggs even.

If you add two females and have a total of 3 ducks, you will always have two left if one should happen to die. 3 or 4 is always better than 2 to assure that a 'flock' is maintained.

I vote for the 2 Rouens, they are larger and having 2 will help keep the ducks from being over mated,and so sorry for your loss.
