Male Turkey has Poop on Bottom and Under Legs

So i have a male turkey that i have sat in warm water and i cant see any poop attached anywhere but he looks like he is laying in mud all the time with a wet look underneath and its poop. Its not bunched up , hard or crusty im at a loss at what it is. Ill see if i can get some pics but his vent looks clean and i have seen him pooping with no issue. None of my other turkeys have this. Any ideads??

It could be that he’s seeking the mud to stay cool from the oppressive heat.

If it’s feces caked on and not mud then I’d just wash him off really well
