My chicks are now 2 and 3 months old and this little guy...I think....has a very short tail and his waddle and crown are already coming in and turning red. My 2nd batch were unsexed.

Is he a dude?

If he's only 2 or 3 months... I'd lean more towards cockerel.

Oh yeah, that's a male. Females are not that red and wattled at 3 months.
