Hello!First of all-Sorry for my not good English language.
I have a problem with my 6 years old mallard drake.Symptoms began from 3-4 days ago. There is slightly expressed lethargy. The drake has also slight problem with walking/standing.The drake walks relatively good,it is not limping, but sometimes while walking sits on his back. Also if the drake is just standing upright and resting and near him walks another duck and touches him-also somethimes the drake looses ballance and sits on his back. The gait of the bird also has changed-the drake walks with bulging chest, sometimes while walking the chest is pulled excessively forward, while the head is pulled excessively backward, there is some kind of stiffness in the walking.
All of the symptoms are not strongly expressed and the drake can be told that is not ill,but and not healthy.Every day the symptoms worsen at the morning and are getting better at the afternoon.
The belly and ass feathers are ruffled and durty, but I think that it is because of frequent sitting on his back and supporting while walking. There is not diarrhea, the poops looks normal-with normal consistency and color and without visible parasites.
The appetite of drake is good,he eats well. But I think that for last weeks/months he looses some weight, compaired to before.
There is no excessive thirst. The foots are looking well-there are not traumas,I can not see bumblefoot.
Before 3 months the same drake has problem again for some days with bright green diarhea and total lack of appetite. Then I give him for some days oxytetracycline and I do not know why (because if the antibiotic or spontanously because of the immune system of the bird) but after some days the problem disappeared.

Now I began treating him again with oxytetracycline but I am also open for any other advices!
Thanks!

Thanks for answer! It is possible but unlikely. The yard is big,but there are not on it any toxic chemicals or plants. He is born august 2017.

How's he doing on the oxytetracycline are his symptoms getting better?
If you can get some Rooster Booster "Poultry Cell" that can help maybe it's good for boosting the immune system.
