Mallard ducks drinking salt water

hi we have 14 mallards and would like to release 2 on salt water can they live there and can they drink salt water?

Mallard ducks have special glands in them allowing them to drink salt water

unless you rescued them from the wild and are licensed to rehab, that is illegal. you can not release a domestic duck into the wild even if they are mallard.
