Mallard Egg- Still Alive?

Can someone please advise if this egg is still alive? It was abandoned near my pool, and I brought it in after several days. It never dropped below 60 degrees, but it did rain. I will do whatever it takes to ensure success of this egg and hopefully future mallard. I have done a ton of research, but can't determine if the egg is viable. Thank you I advance for advice and support!

Sorry I have no idea what a mallard egg should look like- especially not knowing how far along it is. You will do better to post on the Duck Thread. The hen may have abandoned it because she knew it wasn't viable.

Put it in the bator, wait a week, then you will know.
