My female Mallard had 4 eggs in the nest. Sadly they were not viable .... Since I took the eggs away she hasn't laid again. I am also having the same problem with my goose. When I candled the goose eggs none were viable so I took them from her ... She laid a clutch of 7 ....I have to say she was quite ticked at me for taking them. And like my mallard female she is not laying.
