Mallard Or Rouen???

Ok so i have 2 ducks that i got from a lady across the street. She said they were rouen but one of them flies up and in to my
kiddie pool and when i picked it up this morning it flew out of my hand to the ground. Sorry, but I have no pics. People
told me that they caan not fly

Most of the things that I have read have said that they can fly for short, small distances.

Well it is hard to say without a pic to help; it could be a mallard or just a really low quality Rouen, seeing as how a high quality Rouen is so big and fat they can't even get off the ground. If the person you got them from said they are Rouen then I would be inclined to take their word for it and just assume they are low quality.

Does it have two eye stripes or one? Rouens can fly for small ways(like any other nonflying duck).

all i know is that both of them have bluish greenish feathers on their wings
