how old before malard ducklings can forage at pond on there on

If say not til they are 100% fully feathered at abuot 3-4mos.

How old are they and what are your temperatures? Here, I believe ducklings would die if they were out without a momma duck. And a momma duck probly would not keep them out for long, if at all.

I havn't got them yet they will be bought about late march it should be done frosting, and should be around 70 degrees I think during the day.They will have hay and there on pen enclosed with wire on the bottom, and a top level for sleeping in there duck house. Any help will be appreciated.
