Mallard/roen question

My "little" ducklings are 7 weeks old now and I am 99% sure I have three girls and a boy. My question is this:
Do the males and females get that teal stripe on their wing? From what I could see today only one of them has the bright teal color the other three are more like a lusterous black/brown.

They both get the wing stripe. At 7 weeks the best way to sex them is by picking them up. Boys squeek girl quack. Soon you should start to see a feather starting to curl up at the base of the tail.

Yeah I only have one squeeker left and he happened to be the one with the teal stripe already. So I was just seeing if that was sex-linked. The rest definately quack.

So for the first time it seems I'm gonna get what I needed. One drake, three girls. YAY!

ya you can voice sex them now and in a few weeks your boys will get there sex feathers and then you will really no wat you are working with
