Mama hen and 1 of her babes?

The chicks hatched around 5 weeks ago. 4 black 1 white. For a long time she favored the white one now she is attacking him. His siblings and everyone else is attacking him. He isn’t the only roo out of the hatch either. Why him?

He could be ill...chickens will attack and kill other sick chickens, they will also do this if they see blood, is he bleeding at all? He could just be a roo who likes to fight a lot.. hope I helped!

His voice may be changing. My chickens as they grow up go through spells where there is periodic increases in discord. One of those is when they transition from being chicks to juveniles where down on head is replaced by feathers. He appears to be at that stage. That stage appears to have a change in voice. My games tend to fight a lot within a brood at that stage.

At 5 weeks old, she may be getting ready to wean them.
