And before the questions fly, I free range my bantams and have had great success with it. This is my little bantam EE who I thought was somehow gone, but I found her the next day on this nest behind the barn. I took an old pet kennel in half and put it over her and here she is 22 days later
And YES, she is safe! We are fairly predator-free here and I've yet to loose a bird to anything other than my own dog
