I have a black old English game hen that is sitting on eggs that she played. But I can't tell if she is nroody because she left the nest for about ten minutes . Also when we try to touch her she puffs ups and growls. She sleepy on the eggs last night and never got up. Is she broody ?

Also hens were stepping on her and when she got up she sat in the wrong nest so I confined her to a 4*2*2 brooder box for her to stay is that good to do or bad

She's broody. She has to leave the nest daily to eat, drink, poop and maybe dust bathe. Good luck.
