Managing the Heat

I still got 11 eggs today in spite of the 100+ degree heat, the mulberry trees I planted years ago are providing cool shade and food. Here is a picture showing the trees which have broke branches arching over all the way to the ground that the chickens like hanging out under. Also you can see one of the four cages I have tomatoes and stuff (squash) growing in just to feed the chickens. There are six chicks the hens hatched so far this year, one is in the picture.
