I have two 2 week old mallard ducklings on Manna Pro Duckling and Gosling feed. Protein content is 22%. Niacin content is 35 mg/lb. The instructions on back of bag say to use this till they are 20 weeks. Is this correct info-to feed this till 20 weeks? Are protein and niacin amounts ok?
Thank you.

Some people say to lower the protein for ducklings as they grow to prevent angel wing, but this feed is fine

I have never lowered the protein content and never had angel wing. BUT my ducklings, gosling are out on the ground very young since they are mama raised. I think your fine with this feed, But you might want to think of using some Nutritional yeast sprinkled over their feed as a precaution, sometimes on the best feed a niacin deficiency can show up.
Dosage is 1 Tab per cup of feed. till 10 weeks old. What their body doesn't use their kidneys will get rid of.
