⠀ Manna Pro Organic feed with weevils

The new chick starter I bought is alive with weevils. A few of the 4 day old girls have started eating them. Surely this isn't a problem, right?

to be honest I would be way more concerned about getting a infestation in the house or building the feed is in. Chickens love bugs super high in protein.

I would be very concerned about the age of the feed; doesn't sound fresh to me! Vitamins deteriorate over time__short time__ and weavels shouldn't be in fresh feed. Is it open dated? Call the feed store and the company and complain!!! Mary
