MannaPro Gamebird/Showbird

I was thinking of getting some MannaPro Gamebird/Showbird to give a protein boost for my molting chickens to possibly help them grow their feathers in quicker in preparation for winter.

How would I offer this? Mix it in their feed to give a little protein boost? Give just a little each day or every other day just extra without being mixed with food?

I'd suggest a separate container.

We made the mistake of mixing some stuff in our feeder and all the birds did was fling the feed around to get to the new stuff (in our case, it was some bird seed). They made a mess and wasted some feed.
