Mantaining feathered feet

Hi there! I have several chickens that live outside with feathered feet that I plan to show this year. Other than bringing them inside and giving them baths does anyone have some suggestions on how to make their feathers squeaky clean and in good condition ? Thank you !

Cover all their space, inside and out with a layer of good bedding. I prefer straw out in the run and pine shavings in the coop. Do they free range?

They have a large run outside of their coop. It is very big so it’s like free ranging. Thank you !

I'm an wondering about trimming foot feathers? I really don't want to but would it save a lot of hassle?
