For the Canadians out there, has anyone come across any type of large sheet pans, metal trays, drip pans etc. that can be used in your own cage build? They seem quite challenging to source here. Thanks

I'm in US but I'm sure you have oil drip pans from automotive shops. I get them in metal 25"x 36" for 10 to 12 dollars apiece. Work very well for me and cheapest pans I could find. For the Canadians out there, has anyone come across any type of large sheet pans, metal trays, drip pans etc. that can be used in your own cage build? Those are exactly the type that I tried to source up here in any size here. I can get them imported from the US, or there is exactly one type available overpriced on amazon canada (3 or 4x what they cost in the US), but only one type of flat rectangular drip pan seems to be available up here. I tried across the country. And the automotive parts chain that sells this product can apparently only provide mangled ones. I ordered from two different shops in different cities (same co), and all arrived twisted and mangled. It is flimsy metal. Some were run over with tire marks lol. The staff in one shop said that this is the best we can do as "the shippers will always damage them." ? This was an actual conversation lol. Being that both shops had the same issue, the staff may be right.I'm in US but I'm sure you have oil drip pans from automotive shops. I get them in metal 25"x 36" for 10 to 12 dollars apiece. That's a good idea. I'll check. I did try to look online generally for restaurant bread/sheet pans etc. but not locally. The baking sheets I saw online weren't that big. I'm looking for at least 2' x 3'. Good thing I didn't cut my lumber yet.Yes, I did have to pick through a few at one store to get undamaged ones but then had them order me in more and they came in ok. Do you have any bread/bakeries around I have seen where others have had luck getting some old large baking sheets when they replaced with new might be worth a try.
Yes, you may have better luck that way or even if you can get manufacture's name and # and order directly from them.I may try to contact the automotive store's head office and see about them getting shipped directly to me in an actual box.
Thanks. Yep the Advanced Auto Parts one is the exact one I wanted. It was the one in the notes for the Wood Cage Build video on the Coturnix Corner YT channel. I wish I could get it here. Great price and I think sturdier metal.Just looked at one I have its from auto zone, by sure bilt 24 1/2 x 35 1/2 $12.99 item#17DT001 and looked up another from Advanced Auto Parts from Flo Tool $14.99 #11430MI just said 25" but looks the same. Maybe this may help.
Yes it is, and they are thin but do work for me and they were cheaper. Haven't seen the others to compare thickness/sturdiness.
Contact Dave at Wynola Ranch via phone or text message and tell him what you need see if he can ship to Canada. His metal poop trays are study. I think he can fabricate custom dimensions. Those are exactly the type that I tried to source up here in any size here.
