My 18 mo old Maran stopped laying 3 months ago after a year of large eggs. She was bullied by the alpha Easter Egger and had been an uneven performer, with soft shells once a week or so, though her eggs were huge. At first I thought it was molting, but now I think it was bullying since her hen-pecked head is healed and feathered but she still is not laying. Any ideas on whether I can get her to lay again and how?

Probably more the decreasing daylight rather than any bullying.
Marans can be not so prolific layers, and some birds cease to lay earlier in the fall than others.
Unless you want to use supplemental lighting, you'll just have to wait until the days grow longer.
Either way, she may never be a great layer.

I’ve heard a new rooster will liven them up and has started slow hens laying again.
If the easter egger is still bullying her, isolate the bully for a few hours and that will stop bullying, they hate being separate.
it worked for me.
