Maran? Which?

Hello everyone. I have a hen and have had her since last fall. She came to me when she was at least a year old. I call her Big Ed. I am still a noob when it comes to identifying breeds, and it occurred to me a few days ago that I do not know the breed of this chicken. I suspect she is a Maran, but I couldn’t find any pictures of a Maran that looked like her. Can anyone help?

Very interesting. I wonder what she is a mix of. I really like that it looks like there are hearts on her feathers. She is a large chicken and she lays large brown eggs. Not very dark like one would expect from a Maran. Thank you for your input.

That’s leakage. Several of my EEs have it.
