Maran ?

Rocko was an adopt me from the 27March 23 hatch from Meyer's.obviously he is a rooster, I assume a Maran of some type, but not sure.

He does look like a Marans. I don’t see any copper on him though (a bit hard to tell), and I don’t see anything on Meyer’s website that resembles him. The closest I found was this site, which talks about a Solid Blue Marans (BBS) that lacks copper which a Canadian farm has developed. Perhaps Meyer’s has something similar that they don’t advertise? Hopefully someone else on here who knows more can better ID him for you

I think it is a Marans as well. Nothing else on Yeyer's list fits. It is not fluffy enough to be a blue Cochin.

I agree and while his legs are fluffy, its not like cochin in their snow pants ( how i think of it)
