Marans breeding thread

I have a question. I have 6 Marans chickens, one is a cuckoo rooster. The others are various colors. If I breed the rooster to another color Marans what will the outcome be or will I get all different colors? I have two black pullets, a red one, brownish copper colors. Please excuse me for not knowing the real names of their colors. Thank you.

I have another question about buying pure bred Marans. How do you know if the hatchery has good stock? I did go to the above link, read for over an hour and didn't find an answer to my question. I really don't have time to read endlessly, is there a search engine on this site?
