Marans chick- color help please! UPDATE 3 1/2 weeks now! Gender??

This lovely little Marans chick hatched under my broody yesterday, and "They are from my F1 blue Marans xwheaten Marans
They hatch out blue black splash and wheaten." according to the source of the eggs.

I don't know much about the Marans breed, but I'm excited to have this little guy/gal- I would love to know what color it is. I know some colors can be sexed at birth...that would also be good to know if it is possible. I doubt it, but input is welcome!!!

It looks to be black in a week or so when feathers start coming in you should know for sure.

I like your pictures The little cutie appears to be a male because of the posture. The Black Marans have to be without copper coloring that the Black Copper Marans should have.
