Marek vaccine ?

I have 12 babies. Less than a week old and I'm feeding them medicated starter feed. My question is should I do anything for them for marek? I'm in southeastern CT. Thx

Welcome! Marek's vaccine is given to day-old chicks, not later. Feed medicated with amprolium is to help chicks control coccidiosis, a totally different problem. Any chicks that I buy from a hatchery I have vaccinated for Marek's disease, which is done as day-olds at the hatchery. Mary

That's what I just read somewhere else. I guess mareks isn't a big problem here. The farm store I bought the babies at said they weren't vaccinated
