Mareks vaccine -help!

I got 4 chicks from TSC who were not vaccinated for Mareks so i purchased the vaccine online from a hatchery. I followed the instructions exactly, and watched a video on how to administer the vaccine to our chicks. After administering the first vaccine we put the chick down and it fell over and laid on its side. while it is now back in the brooder with the other chicks it it seems to be incredibly lethargic. Is this normal? I cannot imagine i did it wrong. 0.2 ml of mareks per chick! Help!

Seriously mereks vaccine helps but they can still get The disease...Just not as bad to my understanding and I think it's a live vaccine so can cause symptoms.

It is a live vaccine i read that! Definitely didnt continue to do the other 3 chicks, that traumatized me lol. Hopefully the baby will be okay :barnie

Definitely don't use it...Many Chicks are Farm raised without any vaccines.

Well i just went to check on it before i went to bed and found it laying lifeless, but still alive. I picked it up and it died in my hand a few minutes later. My first batch of chicks, my first death. Heartbreaking.

I'm sorry...You thought you were helping and it didn't work..We all learn as we go. I wish you luck with the Chicks. Don't use that vaccine anymore..:hmm
