Marigold question.

I took some seeds out of my marigold flowers, how long do they have to dry out for?

You need to let the spent flowers dry down on the plant until they are dry than harvest the seeds or pick the dried flower head. They are ready when they easily pull out of the flower casing.

They should be viable if they are stiff when dried. If you can bend a dry seed, it is not viable.
