Mark on egg normal?

My New Hampshire red hen has been laying eggs with this mark on the end and I am just wondering what it is & why only her eggs have this mark on them? Also, are they safe to eat? I'm new at raising chickens so don't know too much about what is safe or not. Picture posted below. I appreciate your feedback! Thanks!

It's a perfectly good egg for eating. Something in her reproductive process is causing this to happen. This may be her 'signature' for her lifetime, or it may eventually go away.
