Mars-Bars egg color

My Mars-Bars started laying and instead of seeing olive or green eggs, I am finding dark brown eggs.
I bought them as young pullets from someone local. I think it was one of her first attempts at this cross/mix.
How often does something like this happen. I have 5 of these young hens. The eggs are quite beautiful, but I was really looking towards some colorful eggs.

I am not sure. I know she told me but I do not remember.
I am finally getting olive eggs but only from one of them.
I do not mind the brown eggs. They are beautiful.

"Marsbars" are meant to be Marans cross Cream Legbar. Using a Marans rooster over the Legbars produces sex-linked olive eggers which is what I'm doing this season.
Since your eggs are brown either the Cream Legbar used doesn't have two copies of the blue gene or is mixed
