began using BYC last spring for learning and understanding our (then) ten baby chicks.
since then they are healthy, happy, and laying eggs every day.
today was the day we joined BYC (officially).

we recently found an incredibly small egg (from out of the blue) and came straight to BYC to find out what we could. naturally, we found that plenty of other chicken owners experienced the same thing and there was nothing to worry about.

so glad this community exists!

warm regards,
BlackSnake Acre

Hello there and welcome to BYC!

Yes, once in a while chickens will lay wind eggs, usually small eggs with no yolk. They can lay all kinds of funky eggs over their lifetime. As long most of their eggs are normal, there is nothing to be concerned about. :-)

Great to have you aboard and welcome to our flock!

thanks for the warm welcome.

we have:
3 Buff Orpingtons
5 Sussex
1 Golden laced wyandotte
1 Buff wyandotte

Love your avatar, beautiful Westie. Glad you joined the Backyard chickens flock.
