Mash or Pellets - What would you do?

For those of you with PVC feeders experience... Which will flow better, Mash or Pellets? I have to get new food Saturday and I plan on building them their new feeder Saturday. They have been eating mash since birth and are now almost 12 weeks old. Should I switch to Pellets (Blue Seal Grower Cal - comes in Mash or Pellets) for use in the PVC feeder? or will mash work just as well?

My experience has been that mash will hang up sometimes. If you don't mind the extra work I tried mixing it with crumbles and that seemed to work a lot better. I am trying to solve the problem of them wasting feed. I am going to try someting different tomorrow, if it works I'll try to post a pic.
