max time between first and last hatch?

Got home from work last night to find a chick! I had hopped that this morning there would be more, but no.

i know they dont need food or water for the first 48 hours, but i want to move mum and chick(s) to another coop. So how long should i leave mum before knowing the others wont hatch?

I'd give them another 12 hours at least.

I have had them take as long as 2 1/2-3 days. My last hatch on the third day I took all the eggs and shells away that didn't hatch(at least thought I did) next day my 5 chicks turned into 6. She had to of had it tucked up under her wing.

You can move her to a safer location but I would move her eggs too.
