Maxing and chillaxing in the run . . .

I have been thinking of late how I can hang out with my chickens as I read many folk do. I like to read and maybe that would be a good way to multi-task.

I recently picked up one of those folding, canvas chairs with the cup slot. They are very inexpensive and seem to be cheaply made and I was wondering how it would hold up out there in the run? Maybe if I fold it up and put it away each day it may work. Either way I am looking forward to the time to be spent.

Good to fold it up and put it away when not in use. Otherwise it may become a poop perch.

I do the same thing with my chickens. I use a fold up canvas stool that I take down there to sit on when I'm spending time with my birds. I don't leave it in there because I wouldn't want it to tumble over and hurt any of them. Plus, like sourland said, it'd be covered in poop in no time.
