When you have the probe in the water weazle does it mess with the humidity level since it is confined in plastic?

BTW, I bought my accurite Hygro/Therm today.

If I get what you're asking, the probe doesn't measure humidity at all on most AcuRites. So the answer would be no. The probe is made to put outside a window of a house to measure outside temperature; that's why we use it in the weasel to measure egg temps. BUT, unless you have a very expensive one, it does not measure humidity with the probe. To measure humidity, you'd have to place the entire unit in the bator, if you have the one most people get, and that I have.

OK! Great, that is what I was asking. Thanks for interpreting it.
