Maybe Lash Egg??

Curious if any body has seen something similar to the attached picture. One of my hens laid this about 2 weeks ago. I thought she was egg bound. Treated her with epsom salt bath and calcium. Then about a week later she laid this. She still has not laid since but seems to be eating and drinking ok. I was not brave enough to cut open. I’m mildly optimistic for her.

Yes, I agree, it look like a Lash Egg (Salpingitis).

If you know which hen expelled the material, you can try treating her with an antibiotic to see if that helps with the infection and inflammation for a while. Amoxicillin is a good choice or some use Baytril.
