In December i ordered 75 Jumbo Cornish X's Rocks in a higher elevation we are about 6500ft above sea level. I did not know that they had problems with being raised in higher elevations, hopefully i can stop other people from making the same mistake. When i went to butcher i only had 30 of them left to butcher. Another thing is that the condition the chicks came was terrible. about 8 of them were bowlegged or extremely skinny and dehydrated. Good luck Everybody

McMurray's has always been EXCELLENT for me! I have ordered their Jumbo CX for the last 2 years and have had VERY minimal losses. I have ordered 30 more for March along with several turkeys for this year.

Maybe Trying to raise CX in the middle of winter in a higher elevation was your problem? Shipping stress in the cold weather? Something else?

Maybe, I'm not sure it could have been the cold but i have had good results in the past with other breeds. Are you in a higher elevation
