Just now feed my girls mealworms for the first time! OMGOSH! It was so funny. My two mystery chicks caught on immediately and gobbled them up. My two BSL's got smoked and didn't even get a taste. I will give them more later. Can you feed them TOO many?

with my farm, i bought a rubbermaid container (about medium sized) i bought dark blue cuz i read that they like the dark. i had hubby drill holes in the top. i filled it with a couple inches of chick starter (u could also use chicken crumbles). cut a potato in about 4 chunks....or an apple in half.....order your mealworms (i ordered 500 online) and dump em' in there and they'll take care of the rest. i also put a couple layers of newspaper on top. they like to crawl in there, and i makes it very easy to collect them for consumption! (not MY consumption! my chicken's consumption! LOL!
