I went to petsmart today... bought some mealworms at $3.50 for 50... ouch... But what hurt the worst... were my FINGERS when I tried to feed them to them!!!!!!!
I swear, they knew what they were as soon as I opened the container, even though I raised them as day old chicks!! After they were all gone, each and every chicken tried to take a bite out of my finger!!!
They are 13 weeks old and have never done that! I would raise the meal worms... warming up to it because it is a little phobia of mine... but I think my girls and quail (when I get them) would really appreciate that! I feel like I would even have to hide "worm raising" from my hubby!!
