Mean chick

I have a Buff orpington and she is really mean she pecks at all the other chickens and me!! Is that normal??

Sometimes you'll have a chicken that's more aggressive. Even from an early age. Like Marianne7 said, probably sorting out the pecking order early on! Unless your chick injures the others or you don't worry about it.

Sounds like to me she's tops in the pecking order of chicken life. She or another chicken hasn't just been added to the flock has she? If so then that's another situation which has to be dealt with.
