Mean chicken change behavior?

Si i recently culled my rooster. Now i sebse a shift in behavior, more laid back. I have one chicken who happens to be the runt or lowest in the pecking order who is constantly biting my shoes pants. If i try to pick her up she follows my hands but the other chickens are always knocking her around. Can i change her behavior?

Change her behavior or stop the others from knocking her around? Not sure what your asking.

If you want to stop the under foot and pant leg tugging then you need to stop giving treats. They see you as a candy machine and think by tugging on your leg will be like inserting a quarter so candy comes out. Stop treats for a while and that behavior will stop.

I'll add that that behavior is not mean at all. It's actual affection and spoiled behavior. Limit treats. Don't give treats every time your out with them and stop treats for a week and that "loving" behavior she exhibits will stop.

She is a meanie i want to be able to pick her up and not have to worry about her trying to nip me. I dont mind the other ones knocking her around a bit theres a pecking order for a reason thats nature.
