I have eight female chickens getting close to four months old. Until now they have all got along really good. This past week for some reason they are picking on one hen who now spends most of her time under the coop getting away from the rest. Is this a normal thing with young chickens? Should I try and separate them and when I put them all back together do you think they will start the same thing again?

If you separate them, when you put her back she'll still be at the bottom of the pecking order. Now that you own a flock, you can really see what is meant by pecking order. There wil always be one. Someone is at the top and someone is at the bottom. If she is not getting injured, you can just let it run it's course. Make sure they have enough space and there are places she can get away from the others.
