I have posted about this before but it seems like the situation isn’t improving unless I’m paranoid. We have a pekin cockerel who’s been with us for nearly 2 weeks and he is the cutest but turning out to be a mean little guy. He is chasing two of our hens and grabbing them by their feathers even though they are bigger than him. Has anyone got any advice?

Could he just be trying to find his place in the pecking order? If it's just small pecking I wouldn't worry. If more than that separate.
My rooster was picked on by an older hen until he grew into his role. But he tried to off her constantly after that. Nursed her back from death twice. I have to keep them in separate runs. Someone said roosters know when an old hen is past her days. It you have a rooster it is his flock now to regulate. Lots of opinions to sort through and mine is just one.

So your birds are all young, under one year of age? Then you have pullets and a cockerel, and the cockerels mature before pullets the same age. The girls aren't interested, and he's an idiot adolescent. Time will smooth things out! As long as there's plenty of space, extra feeders and waterers, hiding places (not dead ends!) and especially, nobody injured, it will likely be fine later.

Yes they are. God I do hope that stage is over soon!
