don't know if this is the right spot for this question ---

I have a flock of 6 mature hens -- ages from 1 year to 3+ years --
Buff Orpington
EE (2)
Barred Rock
Red Sex-Link
Black Copper Marans

I have been adding one pullet at a time for the past two years -- doing the usual 'integration into the flock' things ---

several of these hens like to play 'Mean Girls At School' but we protect the 'newbie' and actually last 'newbie' was very much into 'Mean Girls At School' and she was the clear winner of 'Meanest Girl' title!

They all get along very nicely now and I have gotten the egg-colors I wanted --

So, now I want to get 'hen colors' that I want ---

Long explanation, I know, but here's the question --

Can I put a Crested Polish in with these? -- I've heard that the 'crest' causes some Polish to be literally 'picked on' ---

So, is this one of those 'depends on the chicken things?' or has anyone had experience with this?

Our chicken house is a 'mansion' (sorry that I don't have the skills to post pictures --if someone can let me e-mail a picture to them and then they post it, I'll do that to help me figure this our) -- plenty of room and nicely arranged --

I could easily have 16-18 hens but will keep my numbers at no more than eight --
