Mean Roo sent to freezer camp

Today I butchered a rooster that had attacked my 6 year old. He only dressed out around 3 pounds maybe. I wasnt planning on do it yet but he had to go.

Good for you. Hopefully he will be a tasty meal for you and your family. I just processed an egg eating hen this morning. I have never seen so much fat on a chicken before, must have been an entire pound of bright yellow fat. She finished at 4 lbs. However, she is 2.5 years old, so not sure how I will prepare her. She's resting in the fridge for a few days.

I have one in freezer camp we started calling "dick" lol

I had to do the same with two really aggressive EE roos a couple weeks ago. The other EE roos are quite friendly toward one another but these two were beasts. So far none of the remaining ones have "stepped up" and tried to be the new tough guys. Maybe they saw what happened to their two buddies!
