So I hatched out 13 out of 16 Mearns Quail Eggs. Chicks are doing well.
30 percent Mazuri Feed almost in like powder form across paper towels.
Eating and drinking fine.
Few days later I notice some of one eye shut. Won't even open when I pick up. I see no discharge in the eyes ir like its dried shut. Any recommendation? Powder chixk feed in eye? Thanks for any advice

Pics?
I would start with a gentle saline solution rinse to see if that will clear the eye. It may also let you get a better look at what is going on.

One eye and one bird is probably irritation (feed or brooder light?) or injury (corneal ulcer), multiple eyes/birds start to worry about infectious agent. Saline rinse 2-4 times daily should clear up mild irritation, an ophthalmic antibiotic is recommended for an ulcer (look for a slight cloudy spot on the eyes surface or a divet or crack in the smooth surface). I’m jealous, those quail are adorable but I’m guessing not quite as domesticated as coturnix!

This is what some look like

It's hard to tell by the photo but I suspect it is from the finely ground feed. I'd rinse it until it opens and crustyness is gone. Other than that what is their brooder like? What temperature is the brooder at the chick's level? Can you take photos of the brooder and post them here? Also, photos of some of the other chick's eyes.
Congratulations on a great hatch....we're they shipped eggs?

Yes shipped eggs. Temp at chick level. Is right about 97 under the lamp plenty of room to get away from it. Brooder box made out of pine. Paper towels on floor with the feed ground fine. They are so fragile I tried the warm wash cloth last night seemed to help some. Although I feel like I will damage their eye socket. I will enclose some pics when I get home from work. I hatches all other quail species for the most part just never had this although their feed was never this fine. Thank you
