Meat bird minium space

Ok dont be mad as i know its been asked before. What is the minium amount of space for 25 meat type chicken that you plan on butchering when there ready. I want the min amount of space for the coup and the min amount of space for the pen.

I've heard that a chicken only needs 1x1 square foot of space, but I would double check with someone who keeps meat birds. (mine are pets)

I free range them. But if you have 1 square foot inside that is ok as long as you have about 2 square outside. Remember the more room they have outside they less messy and stinky they are.
