My C-Xs are now 5 weeks and Ive been feeding them for 12 hrs and off for 12, until this week they became crazy when I filled the feeder in the morn. Now they dont run to eat, they are eating , but without the vigor they once had. Is this normal? Otherwise their behavior has not changed.

I feed mine 24/7 or when its hot, I leave the light on at night and only daylight during day...at 5 weeks they could be ready to process. Anything weighing 5+ is ready. I found that when these that I had went over 5 weeks, they gained (instead of the 1 lb per week) 1/2 lb at 6 weeks, 1/4 lb at 7 weeks basically stopped growing. So its one of those things if they are still able to be up and running around then I'd give 24 hour light, Fat and finish and be done with them.
Good luck, but I believe they reach a genetic size and then stop, or slow down a whole lot!
